About

Company history

The lineage of American Starweld boats goes back to 1903 when Arthur Schrock began building the world's first metal boats in Goshen, Indiana. The company was originally a division of the Star Tank Company, producing steel tanks for railways and agriculture. However, sturdy and lightweight (especially against the background of wooden counterparts) boats sold so well that in 1926 the company made the shipbuilding a major business. In 1965 she presented her first aluminium series of fishing boats to customers. Later, the shipyard became part of Smokers Craft, retaining, however, its name and traditions.

Model range

Starweld boats are small aluminium outboard boats designed primarily for fishing. The longest model in the range is the 6-meter Fusion Pro 20 DC. The compact models are represented by the Spark model with a length of 4.7 meters.

Features

The Starweld boats are particularly robust and durable with Torsion Beam bulkhead stringers. They are characterized by increased buoyancy due to foam filling of interior spaces. Other features include aerated cages integrated into the structure for catching and larger areas for accommodating fishermen.
