Philosophy

For John Munford Design, every new order is a challenge. Half of success is the ability to hear the client and be ready to implement any idea: motor or sail, leisure or work, business or relaxation, classics or trends, approximate length, number of guests, gadgets, equipment, communications, swimming pools, gyms, cinemas and so on. After that, it is important to think about the number of crew members according to the client's requirements and implement the project together with the naval architect and designer.

Specialty

The company designs and refits yachts. The brand's arsenal includes both motor and sailing models.

Cooperation with shipyards

The company's portfolio includes joint projects with Camper & Nicholsons, Palmer Johnson, Feadship and others.

Landmark projects

The turning point for the company was the construction of the Jessica schooner (now Adix) in 1981. She became one of the world's largest sailing yachts in the 1980s. Later on she changed her owner and underwent a refit.

In 1985 John Munford Design commissioned the restoration of the classic sailing boat Endeavour, a J. class yacht.

The company's iconic projects also include the 30m Aurora and 68m Archimedes.
