Designer description Larvor

The history of the brand

Larvor means sea in the Breton dialect. This is the name Pierre Tanter gave his design studio in 1985. Cannes, where the company's headquarters are located, was not chosen by chance. The French Riviera is home to people who are able to appreciate luxurious interiors.

Pierre's talent has been recognized by the public - for his creative life the master has noted in many projects. He also managed to raise the receiver Eric Dumesny, who later became at the helm of the company.

Philosophy

The Larvor studio is based on the knowledge and experience of two generations. It offers a classic French style with its inherent pomp and attention to detail and a more restrained modern design.

Specialization .

The company deals with the interiors of residential real estate. In the yachting sector Larvor is famous for its interior design of semi-custom and custom superyachts. The portfolio includes boats from 25 to 65 meters.

Cooperation with shipyards

The most successful cooperation was with the Dutch giant Feadship, with which more than ten projects were implemented. The company is also known for working on boats for Heesen Yachts, Amels and Hitachi Zosen.

Landmark projects

The studio was awarded the Superyacht Design Award in 2002 for its Seaflower (now Cipitouba). At that time she was the owner of one of the most expensive interiors per square metre among Feadship boats. For the interior spaces, a quiet elegant style was chosen, using mahogany and cherry, contrasting with the luxurious carpeting.

The team .

Under the leadership of Eric Dumene, Cannes has a small staff. The studio focuses on exclusive orders for wealthy clients.
