History of the company

Brother and sister Giuseppe & Giulia Allegra are experienced ships, but Barqa has its own company. they decided to open relatively recently. In 2019, the team passed a competition and secured government support for an export promotion program among Sicilian companies. This helped the company make its debut with the Q17 and Q19 boats at the serious international exhibition for the yachting industry in Düsseldorf.

Production

The production facilities are located in the tourist town of Santa Teresa di Riva, Sicily. So far the factory boasts a small but modern workshop, where all the work is done, including casting fiberglass hulls and painting. Also here are assembled boats of the young brand Ayros Boat, which appeared almost simultaneously with Barqa and also belongs to the Allegra family.

Model range

The company builds composite boats with lengths from 5 to 6.5 meters. These include elegant boats with outboard motors and central console. The models are equipped with spacious bow beds and are designed for day trips, fishing or water sports in coastal waters. Like other Italian manufacturers, the shipyard boasts good speed data from its boats.

Features

It is worth mentioning that the Barqa team knows how to competently manage the available space, which is important with such compact boats. Under almost all seats and even in the console there is space for storage of things. The solid draught ensures good sailing characteristics and stability of Barqa boats.
