About
History
The direction of electric boats is developing quite actively, and if five years ago it was possible to count the manufacturers of such boats by fingers, today their number has grown significantly. In 2019, a newcomer to this promising community appeared - Voltaire Electric Yachts. The company was founded by former HanseGroup marketing manager Florian Nierich and Michael Reardon.
Michael Reardon is well known in the yachting community for his collaboration with Shipman Carbon Yachts, Skagen, Ocean Class, Greenline and Gunboat. Michael's projects have won the Boat of the Year»title «36 times(!), so the yard has a good chance of success.

Production
The yard's head office and sales department are located in Germany. For production, the new company uses the capacities of Daedalus Yachts, which is also owned by Michael Reardon. The plant is located in the USA in the coastal town of Edenton. (North Carolina)
Model range
So far, there is one electric in the model range a catamaran about 10 meters long. The boats are made of modern composite materials and have a unique futuristic design, in which smooth outlines prevail.
Features
Despite its compact size, the manufacturer offers customers a custom design of their boats and also integrates any equipment into the models. All stages of construction of each new electric Voltaire can be monitored in real time, from hull production to water testing in the Atlantic Ocean.
