Brand History

Norman Foster is a well-known personality in the design community. After receiving his degree in architecture from Yale University, he met Richard Rogers, a landmark meeting. Together they created Foster + Partners in 1967. The partners are also authors of high-tech style, their passion for the works of Soviet engineer Vladimir Shukhov played a significant role in this.

Philosophy

In the studio each project starts with a clean slate and a new idea, which allows to offer a client a unique solution that takes into account all his wishes. To create a common style, all specialists work together, one team. Tasks are not scattered across departments to avoid inconsistencies.

Specialization .

In the Foster + Partners portfolio you can find some of the most famous residential and commercial buildings around the world. For the marine sector, the studio designs exteriors and interiors for production boats, luxury sailing boats and superyachts.

Collaboration with shipyards

The yachting direction is not a priority for the studio, but the way the team approaches its work is appreciated by many famous shipbuilders. The company developed open cruising yachts for Alen Yacht and custom boats for Perini Navi, Rodriquez Yachts, Wally, Lurssen.

Landmark projects

The very first project of the shipyard was a 58.8m superyacht Lurssen Ronin (formerly Izanami), which looks similar to a warship. She was followed by the interior of the Wally Dark Shadow, and later by a futuristic trio - Ocean Emerald, Ocean Pearl and Ocean Sapphire.

Team

Foster + Partners has an extensive network of offices around the world with headquarters in London. The studio employs over 900 people and is managed by a Board of 10 Partners, including Norman Foster.
