The largest in Russia international exhibition of boats and yachts «Moscow Boat Show will be» held from 7 to 11 March in «Crocus Expo». Over 250 companies from all over the world will take part in the Boat Show. Among dealers and shipyards, whose products will be available at the show, are Ultraboats, Prestige Yachts, Smart Yachts, Super Marine, Beneteau, «Kata»Lagoon, Velvette Marine, Bavaria Yachts, «Boat House».
Smart Yachts will bring to the «Moscow Boat Show» the premiere of 2017 - Polish flybridge yacht Galeon 460 FLY. The company promises special conditions for pre-ordering this model during the exhibition. Ultraboats will be presented by Nautique towboats for wakeboarding, wakesurfing and water skiing. Prestige Yachts will bring several motors of French Jeannaeu - open boat with a Cap Camarat 7.5 DC caddy cabin and three models of fishing series Merry Fisher with length from 6 to 8 meters. Also at the stand of Prestige Yachts it will be possible to admire single «American» Glastron GTS 205.
Bavaria Yachts and X-Yachts, two well-known brands in Russia and abroad, will have only information stands. The famous Dutch shipyard Wim Van der Valk will not present any boats live either - only models.
Among the yacht equipment manufacturers we can mention the presence of Navionics electronic navigation charts and Mercury outboard engines.
Models of two 20-meter luxury steel trawlers will decorate the stand of Popilov Yachts shipyard in Sevastopol. The first and so far the only completed 20-meter hull of Popilov Yachts, named «Valentina», left the shipyard in 2016. The boat was used as a charter boat by the owner. It is now up for sale. You can find out about the terms and conditions of purchase at the Popilov booth.
Kazan Velvette Marine will have, as usual, an impressive stand. Though not a dozen models, as in previous years, but five boats of Kazan citizens will present to your attention. The premieres, however, will not make us particularly happy: two of the five models, which are called «new», are in fact slightly upgraded old versions. Velvette NGT 27 has been extended by 40 cm, while Velvette 33 Intelligent has enlarged the engine compartment and refreshed the interiors with new trim.
The shipyard calls its new model «a river-going off-road» vehicle for fishing. Its advantages are low draft and easy transportation by trailer. It is also spacious enough to comfortably accommodate a large company or to install a full-fledged galley with a galley for round-the-clock fishing. For fishermen there are plenty of options available, such as a cutting board on the stern, holders for trolling rods, spinning tubes complete with coils, located in the roof compartment.
What to look at, we have figured it out. Now about who you can listen to at the «Moscow Boat Show».
On March 8, Ilya Bushtukhin, marine lawyer, manager of megayachts and yacht surveyor, will explain the current rules for importing yachts and boats from abroad to the Crimea and Sevastopol and discuss the prospects for abolition of customs duties on yacht import in this region. The fact that this decision was made, said last year the Sailing Federation of the Republic of Crimea. Later, however, it turned out that we are not talking about any duty-free import. Representatives of the Federation will also be at the exhibition, so you can ask them personally what happened then. And we hope to expect an interesting discussion on how to develop yachting in the new Russian region.
Later on the same day, Gennady Chizhov, director of the non-commercial partnership «Regional Association of Yacht Clubs and Owners of Small Size Ships» (NP «RAMS»), will talk about how payment rates for the use of federal property changed in 2017.
On March 9, representatives of GIMS, VFS and FPS of the Moscow region will discuss legal regulation and registration of ships at the round table.
On March 10, there will be several reports interesting for representatives of the industry by business coach Peter Travinsky from Moscow Business School. He will tell about rules of registration of cargoes in conditions of the Customs union and about taxation of foreign trade operations.
On March 11th it makes sense to come to the Crocus Expo to listen to the representatives of the Moscow Yacht School «»Wind Power. They will tell you about their experience of sailing expeditions in the northern regions: Norway, Scotland, Iceland and Farrah.
There were also representatives of the domestic shipbuilding industry. Popilov Yachts limited themselves to information stand, but received many interesting offers. The Sevastopol shipyard was so enthusiastic about the success that it is preparing to bring a full-size boat to Dusseldorf next year. Velvette Marine was ahead of the Sevastopol people: the yacht produced by the Kazan shipyard was already this year beautifully presented in Dusseldorf.
The exhibition was a success for many: for example, Bavaria Yachts announced 160 boats sold during the Boot Dusseldorf.
Over the past couple of years, the show has been very horrible. The assortment of boats presented was quite sparse. The more interesting is how the Moscow Boat Show will look this year - yet it still remains the largest yacht show in Russia.
