Category Description
A bowrider is a boat with an open platform at the bow, where there are additional seats. In fact, the boat has two cockpits: the main one and the bow one. For small boats it is a very comfortable layout, which allows to use each meter as much as possible. Accordingly, the name itself is derived from the English - bowrider, where «bow is» translated as a nose and «rider» as a rider.
Bowriders are used as pleasure boats, as well as for water skiing and other water sports. By riding such a boat, you get maximum pleasure from the proximity of water and good weather.
The boat of this type can be equipped with both fixed and outboard engine. As a rule, bowriders are 5 to 10 meters long.
Shipyards often provide for an awning above the bow of the boat.
