Category Description

Any larger or smaller yacht needs an auxiliary boat that can take passengers ashore from anchorage and bring them back. Tenders are primarily used for this purpose and their dimensions are directly dependent on the size of the carrier yacht.

On most boats up to 30 m long, the tender niche is fully occupied by RIB boats with outboard motors or water cannons, which can be easily lifted on board and placed in the garage, on the flybridge or on the swim platform. A special place is occupied by luxury superyacht tenders, which are expensive "limousines" or designer boats, some made in a single copy in accordance with the design of the main vessel.

In addition to haulage, tenders are also used for entertainment - ski towing and diving - plus they are indispensable for exploring shallow water areas where a carrier yacht cannot go. Sometimes very exotic boats, ranging from canoes to amphibians and hovercrafts, are used as tenders.
