About De Alm
Company history
In October 1977, Cees van Maastricht and his friend Chris Dolislager decided to take a step towards independence. In a concrete hangar next to their house in Nieuwendac they started building boats, inspired by the boats of the De Alm shipyard, which was founded in the post-war years and built fishing boats. Over time, the friends joined forces with the shipbuilder and the joint venture quickly picked up the pace. Due to the ever-increasing volumes, the new businessmen had to build a second hangar. Over the next 20 years, the company has moved several times to expand its production capacity.
Status
The company continues its work. Today at the helm of De Alm Jachtbouw stands the son of Kees, Jacco van Maastricht, together with Arie Pruissen.
Production
Since 1999, De Alm's production facilities have been located in Werkendam. The company owns 900 m² of premises and an equipped quay.
Model range
The company builds displacement steel motor yachts from 10 to 30 meters in length as well as small cabin cruising boats in classic style.
