One of the most important and successfully realized conditions in this project is the possibility of making safe long voyages on an absolutely reliable steel yacht designed in accordance with all established standards and rules of shipbuilding, years of experience and knowledge of professionals.
Likewise the client's ardent wish to create an original design of a new yacht that would correspond as closely as possible to the modern Italian trends of the world famous brands but retaining its individuality and standing out among the other yachts of this class has influenced the unique and unrepeatable performance of this project.
The steel cruise yacht Baikal 20 has 4 comfortable and full-fledged staterooms with comfortable separate bathrooms:
- Master stateroom (located at the midships), luxurious in right and purpose, so occupies most of the living area in the hull.
- The VIP stateroom (forward) is just as luxurious and comfortable as the owner's stateroom, but is slightly smaller.
- The two guest staterooms (port and starboard) provide a comfortable and relaxing environment throughout the trip.
In addition, the captain's and assistant's staterooms are located separately aft of the yacht, adequately providing for all necessary needs of people, both for rest and work. This arrangement makes it possible for the crew to avoid unnecessary disturbances and interruptions to the owner and guests, as well as to perform their duties conscientiously and in a timely manner.
If necessary, the yacht can take on board up to 8 guests at a time, each guest being ensured comfort and privacy.
Upon customer's request the engine compartment is equipped with two reliable diesel engines ranging from 250 to 400 hp.
Two 300 hp diesel engines are available as standard, giving the yacht a cruising speed of 11 knots at low speed and significant fuel savings.
Alternatively a highly efficient diesel-electric propulsion system can also be specified.
Quality installation of electric motors on the yacht will be done by one of the reliable German partner companies.
A large area of the hardtop will be covered by solar panels in order to generate electricity and accumulate it in the batteries.
The comfortable and spacious saloon located on the main deck of the steel cruising yacht Baikal 20 is divided into three bright and harmonious zones:
- the main control station, equipped with all the necessary modern equipment
- small saloon with comfortable furniture for relaxation, as well as with built-in audio and TV equipment
- dinetta (fully equipped with cooking equipment) combined with the dining area, smoothly passing into the open cockpit area.
Dinette area is equipped with lowering and raising glass - to serve food to the cockpit, and is located so that it is most convenient to serve cooked food both inside the salon and the open area of the cockpit.
The saloon and cockpit are separated by a large sliding door.
The cockpit accommodates a table and an upholstered sofa for outdoor seating.
