The manufacturer proudly calls it his brainchild "partly sportboat, partly luxury suite". Of course we are not talking about three-room suites of five-star hotels, but there is some truth in these words, and Chaparral 285 SSX can give a forum to many representatives of its class in terms of comfort on board and performance.
The special type of hull Extended V-plane with increased waxing area is characterized by good stability, as well as the fact that the boats perfectly hold the speed and confidently, without skidding into turns.
The cockpit has a U-shaped sofa with a folding table, a windburst, a spacious aft seat convertible into a sundeck or chaise lounge and a control post with a chair for two. The interior designers have demonstrated a clever and innovative design for the lower deck: the dinette with folding dining table is instantly transformed into a V-shaped bed and instead of an additional filler, the table space is filled with removable backrest cushions.
