This year Vladivostok will host an international regatta - Grand Final «Nations Cup». The competition will be held on July 14-19. It will be attended by 65 strongest yachtsmen from Great Britain, USA, Australia, France, Brazil, Singapore, Bahrain, Algeria, Malaysia and Russia.
The regatta will be held in match race format in two divisions - open and women division. Nine teams will race in the Open Division and six in the Women's Division. Athletes who have already won regional finals «Nations Cup» will compete in both divisions.
Teams of helmsmen Vladimir Lipavsky, Ekaterina Ananina and wild-card holder Vlad Abramov will represent Russia.
The races will be held in the Amur Bay in Fedorov Bay.
It must be explained that «Nations Cup» has been held since 1991. The races in the women's division were included in the regatta programme in 1993.
