Last weekend the rescuers of Ust-Kamenogorsk reminded the residents of the city of the importance of observing the rules of conduct on the water. To do this, the service put a man in a reeb in full dress: a black hoodie, a scythe and a mask like in the movie «Scream».
In this attire, the animator with the scythe drove down the river. Moreover, for the intimidation effect to be stronger, the sign on the boat was written: «I am waiting for you, intruder».
The chief rescuer of the VRAOSO of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan explained the action as follows:
«In connection with the abnormal heat, as well as with the increase in the growth of fatalities on water bodies, the staff of the EMERCOM of the VKO are simply forced to find new methods of indoctrinating citizens with the elementary safety rules. To make people pay attention to the current problem, "Krik" came to them by boat with a scythe. At the same time, the PSC inspectors and VRAOSO employees were distributing visual leaflets among holidaymakers and swimmers».
At the same time, according to the eyewitnesses, the action of holidaymakers on the shore did not impress them.
