Mike Dowdy did an unprecedented wakesurfing stunt

Wakeboarder Mike Dowdy left a remarkable mark in wakeboarding history. He managed to do the wake-to-wake 1260 trick - a 3.5 turn rotation in a jump over 2 waves. Several years ago, rotation of 1260 degrees was conquered by Denny Harf, but he did this trick on the double-up, that is, on the junction of the waves, occurring when the boat crosses its own wave.

Mile Dowdy commented on his victory: «With the new Super Air Nautique 23, wakeboarding has reached new heights because it not only takes the boat big, but also the right wave shape. That's why I was able to achieve "impossible" victories for myself and for the sport in general».

Also of respect is the fact that Mike has recently returned to the big sport after recently suffering a serious knee injury.

Mike Dowdy trains hard following his own Super Air Nautique G23 and regularly demonstrates an insane level of riding, including some of the toughest tricks, variations of the double flip.

The Nautique 23 G-series boat has been specially sharpened for new tricks, but as Nautique modestly assures, they themselves are shocked by the possibilities this boat gives. You can read more about this boat in our article.
