An explosion at Captain's Cove Marina on the outskirts of Boston caused a fire that destroyed more than a dozen boats. Nine boats burned and four more sank.

The video shows one of the yachts involved in the blaze going underwater as firefighters extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, but police say it was most likely caused by a fuel tank explosion on one of the boats.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the fire. The owners of one of the boats that died in the fire, the Sagittarius boat, told the media that they managed to leave the vessel just minutes before the fire engulfed it. Tamara Silvia and Justin Lowry recently «sold everything» to move to live on Sagittarius.

Witnesses report hearing two explosions 30 seconds apart after the owner of the first boat that caught fire tried to start it. He declined to be interviewed by reporters.

Captain's Cove Marina has berths for 180 boats up to 24 metres in size. At the time of the fire there were about 155 yachts in it.
