Feadship has handed over the 57-metre superyacht Halo to her owner. She is currently on her way from Amsterdam across the Atlantic to much warmer climes.

Halo was launched by Feadship in late August, and then tested for two months in the North Sea. She was completed in a record 33 months by Feadship.

The owner is delighted with the result, according to a Feadship press release, and is looking forward to trying out all the special features of the boat, such as a fully integrated Apple TV platform (just like in the owner's home) and an enormous sun deck with a protective awning made from an innovative urethane fibre that rises and falls using an electric motor.

The Halo's exterior is easily recognizable with huge silver metallic arches. With a cruising speed of 16 knots and a cruising range of 5,000 miles, the yacht is suitable for long-range cruising around the world.
