The construction of the motor yacht Ruya by Heesen has reached the systems saturation stage. The 47-meter displacement yacht with a tonnage of just under 500GT is already available for purchase.

Ruya's bulbous steel hull will ensure smooth and safe cruising in any sea conditions. For comfort at anchor, the yacht is equipped with zero speed stabilizers. The two MTU 8V 4000 diesel engines will enable Ruya to reach a top speed of 15 knots and a transatlantic range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

The yacht boasts 180 square metres of exterior deck space. The two main outdoor seating areas are located on the sandandeck and aft upper deck, but the main deck also offers plenty of room for sunbathing.

The transom door can be folded down to form a spacious swim platform for easy access to the water. The aft garage can accommodate a 6.5m tender and a 3m water scooter.

Five cabins will accommodate twelve guests. The master stateroom with its adjoining office and bathroom is located on the main deck. The rest of the cabins (two doubles and two twins with ensuite bathrooms) are located on the lower deck.

Ruya was designed by studio Bannenberg & Rowell.

«We have taken the idea of movement as the basis of a new interior concept for the Ruya project»," says Dicky Bannenberg. - The atmosphere will be fresh and light, the textiles, carpets and graphic design will discreetly convey the theme of energy, direction and progress».

The yacht will be fully ready for delivery to the owner in March 2017 after undergoing sea trials in the North Sea.
