The megayacht Alba has found a buyer. The vessel is currently under construction and will be delivered in January 2018. The buyer was represented by Arne Ploch of the brokerage firm Camper and Nicholsons.

Alba is a 50m semi-displacement motor yacht with an original look designed by Dutch studio Omega Architects. Her angular aluminium hull is complemented by a superstructure with a continuous band of triple glazing creating a sleek, seamless wall of windows.

«The yacht has the largest displacement of any of her size and good speeds, with a top speed of» at 23 knots.

The modern interior of Alba was designed by the famous Francesco Paszkowski.

«The interior design we've developed with Margherita Casprini," says Francesco Paszkowski, "for this new 50-metre boat combines a modern aesthetic with a classic layout, as it conveys the Heesen heritage. We played with contrasting colours, light and shade, lacquered surfaces and finishes to further enhance the airy brightness of the interior. Natural leather and stone have been chosen to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that provides a harmonious interior throughout the yacht».

The Alba project is designed to accommodate twelve guests in six cabins. The master stateroom is traditionally located on the main deck forward of the yacht and is equipped with a full-beam bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathtub. The other guest cabins are located on the lower deck, one full beam VIP stateroom aft, two twins in the middle and two doubles forward. All staterooms are equipped with shower cabins.

The Alba project was the third contract for the construction of a new yacht awarded by the Dutch shipyard in 2015. In total Heesen is building eight yachts with delivery until 2018.
