« Seven Feet - OST Legal Sailing» by Vladimir Lipavsky won the fifth round of the National Sailing League which was held on September 16-18 in Vladivostok at the home yacht club of the team - «Seven Feet».

Silver went to Igor Rytov's Navigator Sailing Team from Moscow, bronze went to Valeria Kovalenko 's ARTTUBE (Moscow/Taganrog).

The Vladivostok hosted 24 crews and according to the majority of sailors the past stage could be surely called the best: within three days of the regatta a good north wind blew, which made it possible to hold 36 (!) races - the absolute record of the project.

Each crew raced 12 races, meeting all competitors on a circular system.

On the first day of racing the leader was RUSSOTRANS of Yury Morozov, followed by «Lord of Sails - Europe» of Sergey Musikhin, and then ARTTUBE of Valeria Kovalenko, Ost Legal Sailing of Vladimir Lipavsky and Navigator Sailing Team of Igor Rytov. On Saturday, Lipavsky and his team showed incredible stability and strengthened their position at the top of the standings, without losing it until the end of the stage.

The excellent performance of Navigator Sailing Team on Sunday allowed them to pass the closest competitors and remain in second place. The hardest struggle was for the bronze medals - until the last race of the stage both RUSSOTRANS and ARTTUBE had almost equal chances, but the fifth coming of Yury Morozov in the 36th start, did not allow him to get ahead of Kovalenko.

In a month, from October 14 to 16, the Grand Final of the National Sailing League will be held in Sochi, where the strongest crew of our country will be determined.

At least 10 crews of the final ranking will contend for victory in the 2016 season. This means that the fight will be incredibly exciting and undoubtedly dramatic.
