British design studios Laurent Giles Naval Architects and H2 Yacht Design have joined forces to create a 110m concept called Project Atlas.

This four-masted, five-deck motoryacht will be one of the largest sailing yachts in the world if ever built.

The Project Atlas Sundeck offers a variety of outdoor seating options. You can sit out on one of the eight sun pads or in the shade on a large sofa. Low bulwarks and handrails provide guests with great panoramic views of the ocean.

In the center of the sundeck is a large circular hatch that sheds light on the main staircase. One of the decks is given over to the owner; it has its own outdoor seating area, perfect for an aperitif. Several Jacuzzis and a 6 metre pool with infinity edge effects are scattered between the main deck and the upper deck.

The designers of the concept emphasise that practical considerations were taken into account. The compulsory and ugly looking lifeboats are hidden below the removable bulwarks of the upper deck.

The yacht is equipped with a diesel-electric propulsion system. The sails will save up to 60% fuel in favourable wind conditions.
