The twelfth member of the popular 165 and the third hull of the new Evolution series has been launched at the Overmarine shipyard in Viareggio.

This 50 metre, 300 ton yacht can reach speeds in excess of 35 knots, even when fully loaded, while demonstrating a smooth and vibration-free ride. This is all thanks to her hull and superstructure design and to her powerful propulsion system consisting of four MTU 16V2000 M94 engines, providing 4,200 horsepower, four Rolls Royce/KameWa water jets and four Seakeeper stabilizers.

The exterior of the Mangusta 165 is in keeping with her sporty character. And in the case of her most recent launch, the owner opted for an unusual black hull and superstructure paint with the addition of red accents.

The Mangusta 165 Evolution Series differs from its sister boats by redesigning the main deck portholes and adding three large skylights to the single sidelight. Furthermore, the aft flybridge area has been enlarged and redesigned with a stainless steel grill.

As on all Mangusta yachts, the interior of the new boat has been completely redesigned to fulfil the owner's wishes.

Black and red Mangusta 165 Evolution will be shown at the Monaco Boat Show in late September.
