Russian team in the lead following the results of two days of the World Championships in the class «Dragon»

World Championship in Cascais started in «Dragon class». Anatoly Loginov's Russian team Annapurna is in second place after the first three races of the championship. Annapurna is the reigning European champion - the team won this title last year at the races in St. Petersburg.

The first day of the World Championship was marked by the strong breeze which was getting higher and higher in the air gust up to 28-30 knots. Under these conditions, Andy Bedsworth led the fleet on Provezza, flying the Turkish flag. Russia's Annapurna came in third. On the second day of the championship Anatoly Loginov managed to close the gap with Bedsworth and get equal number of points with him, once again being in the top three.

«In total 70» dragons from 19 countries are taking part in the competition. The championship will continue until June 17. The organizers plan to hold two races per day, except for the first and the last race day.
