The AMEL 50 from the French shipyard La Rochelle will be christened at the Festival de Cannes on 14 September.

The 15.51m family cruiser is characterised by safety, manoeuvrability and ease of handling. In order to fulfill these, a number of significant changes were made to the hull structure and the yacht was equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology, which distinguishes her from her predecessors.

A broad and flat stern gives the boat stability on the water and driving comfort. The size of the boat has been reduced and a twin spear steering wheel has been installed for better manoeuvrability. The boat is equipped with the system of furling sails and the winch on the electric motor, automatic jib and a central control post.

Three large and cozy cabins accommodate up to six guests. The ergonomic interior, designed by Berret-Racoupeau, provides plenty of storage under beds, benches, lockers and lockers.
