Van der Valk Forum - Mast down!

Dutch shipyard Wim Van der Valk has launched Forum, the 26-metre yacht which completes the Continental III collection.

The exterior styling and naval architecture of the gliding hull has been developed by the yard's designers in collaboration with Guido de Groot Design.

She is designed to pass under all bridges easily, with a waterline height of 6m or less. This is achieved by installing a quick lowering system for the mast.

The interiors for Forum were created by the Wim Van der Valk team, not without the active participation and advice of the owner's representative. The saloon, designed for business meetings, can be easily transformed into a space for boisterous parties. Aft of this is the dining area and from the galley a staircase leads down to the lower deck.

Guests can enjoy cruising with up to 10 guests in 4 cabins, including the Owner's stateroom on the main deck. Sleeping accommodation is provided for up to three crew members.

For alfresco relaxation two L-shaped settees and a bar with grill will be located on the upper deck. An additional wheelhouse is also located here.

Two MTU 10V2000 M93 engines, providing 1502 hp, give the boat a top speed of 23 knots. And thanks to Naiad fin stabilizers, the boat is comfortable to sail in any sea state.

In addition to Forum, this year Wim Van der Valk also launched Valencia, a 23-metre flybridge yacht.
