The first hull of Horizon Yachts' E98 series was launched and will make her debut at the Palm Beach International Boat Show March 23-26.

Like her smaller sister, the Horizon 88, the exterior and naval architecture of the new 30.33m model was designed by Swedish designer JohnLindblom. The exterior styling of the gliding hull type vessel reflects her sporty character.

Seven metres wide, Horizon E98 can accommodate four guest cabins, each with its own bathroom, and a crew cabin of four aft.

Built for a client in the USA who previously owned a Horizon 76, the E98 Do It Now is the result of a collaboration between an experienced yachtsman and the yard's design team. Calm light tones dominate the interiors of Do It Now.

The guest staterooms are finished in walnut and the crew cabins in white oak. The main deck saloon area has been enlarged at the owner's request with an additional formal dining area.

E98 is available with either an open flybridge or a closed flybridge.

The owner of Do It Now opted for the second option, but asked for a fixed windscreen and retractable side panels that allow the open flybridge to be converted into a closed air-conditioned space if needed.

The flybridge includes a bar with seating for five and a large dinette. At the owner's request, the flybridge has been outfitted with a barbecue, fridge and storage for sun loungers.

A pair of Caterpillar C32 engines with a combined output of 3,800 hp limits the top speed to 22.5 knots. Compared to the Horizon 88, the fuel tanks of the new model increased by 40% to over 17,000 liters.
