Superyacht Project Mistral has been delivered to her owner. At her christening the boat was named Amadea. According to AIS, the yacht has left Kiel where it is being built and has passed under the Great Belt Bridge, heading for Norway where Lürssen boats are traditionally refuelled before sailing to their owners.

Little is known about this top-secret Lürssen project.

The exterior design of the displacement yacht is by Espen Øino. According to Boat International the length of Amadea is 104 metres including the two metre decorative bowsprit. According to other sources the boat is even longer at 106 metres. Her gross tonnage is 2999 register tons.

The yacht is registered in Cayman Islands. As you can see from the video below, Amadea boasts a large helicopter pad on the forward section of the upper deck.

Amadea's hull is made of steel, the superstructure is aluminum. She has five decks and is Lloyd's Registry compliant. Construction began in September 2013 and lasted 31 months. She was launched in April 2016.

Amadea will sail to the Middle East, where she will join the owner's other superyacht fleet.

In addition to Amadea, Lürssen's current projects include the 123m Project Jupiter, which recently completed its second round of sea trials, and the 74m Aurora, which will be delivered to the owner by the end of the year.
