LucaVallebona, known as the designer of the 42m Mondomarine Serenity, is taking the superyacht market by storm with bold concepts. The first was the 82m Pentagramma with a superstructure clad in glass and decorated with vertical illuminated brass strips. And here is a fresh concept, this time an Explorer designed to sail the oceans for months at a time.

Broadway is in stark contrast to the overall rigid orthogonal grid of New York City. Broadway has as striking an identity as the famous street.

Outside, the 62-meter Broadway is decorated with retro elements in the form of round portholes, but it looks modern. Some of them have bevelled edges and the three large portholes of the owner's cabin are set in bronze.

The layout is also unusual with the central part of the lower deck being a multifunction space with platforms that fold out on both sides. It can be used as a spa or a gym, for additional storage of water toys, or as a lounge area with access to the water.

There is no traditional outdoor area aft on the main deck but instead a huge saloon with foldable bulwarks. The forward main deck has a large crew area with galley and wine cellar which can be connected to the guest area by opening a sliding wall.

Generally speaking, there are surprisingly few open decks.

The sunbathing area at the aft upper deck with the large sun pads surrounding the Jacuzzi is the main deck sunbathing area. Forward on the upper deck there is another smaller Jacuzzi and a sheltered lounge area with fire pit.

The Broadway has extensive storage and cold storage areas connected to the galley by a technical lift and a cooled waste room.
