Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev's next boat, which will inherit the name Anna, will be a 110-metre Project 1007 from the Dutch shipbuilder. Feadship. The previous 67-metre superyacht, which bore that name, was put up for sale by the entrepreneur for €65 million.

The steel hull and aluminium superstructure of Project 1007 was completed back in 2016. «That's when the yacht, commissioned by the owner of the Monaco football club», was first launched for transport to Makkum. The final finish is due to be completed this year.

The exterior and interior design of the new boat, like her predecessor, has been developed by Michael Leach Design. The Feadship De Voogt four-deck yacht with naval architecture is being built to Lloyd's Registry standards.

Although the manufacturer has not disclosed details of the project, hatchways aft of the vessel hint at a side-loading tender garage and a beach club with folding panels.

When completed, Project 1007 will join the top 40 largest yachts in the world and take over the title of Feadship's flagship from the 101.5m Symphony, which rolled off the yard's slipway in 2015.

Among the giants produced by the Netherlands, the boat will share first place with the 110m Jubilee from Oceanco.

Experts believe the new Anna together with her trimming will cost around $500 million.

With this acquisition Dmitry Rybolovlev will become one of the owners of yachts over 100m, which include Roman Abramovich with a 162m Eclipse, Alisher Usmanov with a 156-metre Dillbar, Andrey Melnichenko with 142.8-metre sailing yacht «A» and others.

Feadship, a Dutch yard so well liked by the Russian oligarchs (at least 5 of them have ordered their superyachts from Feadship) is also finishing work on a 93-metre yacht called Project 814.
