Russian businessman Alexander Abramov, the founder of metallurgical and mining company Evraz, has put up for sale his 68-meter yacht Triple Seven. The cost of the vessel, the sale of which is entrusted to the brokerage Burgess, is €44.9 million.
Alexander Abramov bought Triple Seven in 2013 for €39.75 million. The dollar billionaire did not skimp on the maintenance of the boat. During the ownership of the vessel, the businessman has invested a significant amount in it, including two global refits - in 2014 and 2016.
The oligarch's estate is located there in the Northland area, and the shallow harbour does not allow the yacht to moor close to the shore. As required by the New Zealand authorities, the structure has the most natural look possible, for which workers and divers worked on it by hand.
Triple Seven was built in 2006 by the German shipyard Nobiskrug under work number 777. The boat is the winner of the International Superyacht Society Awards 2007 in the category «Best Power 43m+».
The exterior and interior of the yacht was designed by Newcruise Design. She boasts a spacious beach club, large Jacuzzi and a tender garage with storage for 8 and 9m tenders. In addition, there is a bar, cinema and gymnasium on board.
The boat can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins, including an owner's suite with a separate study and library.
The two MTU 16V 4000 M60 diesel engines with 2360 hp will power the 68-meter yacht to a maximum of 17 knots.
In addition to Alexander Abramov, two other Russian billionaires are currently selling their superyachts: Dmitry Rybolovlev, owner of the Monaco football club «» , who is seeking €65m for his 67m yacht Anna, and Vasily Anisimov, owner of Coalco, who lists the 70m Saint Nicolas for €55m.
