There will be three world premieres from Azimut Yachts at Cannes 2018: Azimut S6, Grande 25 Metri and Grande 32 Metri. In total, the Italian boatbuilder will bring 18 yachts to the boat show - one of the largest stands of the current show.

Among the most expected premieres of the forthcoming show is the 59-foot Azimut S6 which is a new addition to the sporty S-series of the yard.

Designed by Stefano Righini, the yacht has the recognisable muscular profile that is a feature of all boats in the collection. Her modern and elegant interiors have been designed by Francesco Guida.

Unlike previous models, the S6's galley is located on the main deck, giving the lower deck three very spacious cabins, including a full-beam master suite.

There are three sunbathing areas on the foredeck and three more sun pads and a dining area under the hardtop with sliding sunroof on the aft deck.

The S6 is powered by a propulsion system with three 700 hp Volvo IPS D8 engines that give her a cruising speed of 30 knots and a maximum speed of 35.

The other two «premiere» boats from Azimut are from the yard's newest collection, Grande.

The exterior lines of the 86-foot Azimut Grande 25 Metri were designed by Stefano Rigini, as was the S6. And just like a sporty novelty, this model has been designed using carbon fibre to minimise its weight.

The designer Achille Salv agni has chosen a very unusual solution for the interior layout: the guest area can be transformed into a dining area with a pull-out dining table.

There are 5 cabins, one of which will be used to accommodate the crew.

The shipyard offers two engine options for the Grande 25 Metri. With the top of the range 1,800 hp the boat is capable of cruising at 26 knots and accelerating to 29 knots.

The 105-foot Azimut Grande 32 Metri was created by the same design team that developed the 25th model, but they differ in many ways.

The extra 20 feet allowed for a large forward seating area with sunbeds, a large table and a Jacuzzi. She has a modern look with asymmetric windows, with sliding windows to give guests and owners alike the opportunity to enjoy the breeze.

The yacht is equipped with a pair of MTU 2200 hp engines that give her a speed of up to 26.5 knots.

In addition, Azimut will be exhibiting 15 more yachts from all 5 collections (Atlantis, Magellano, S, Flybridge and Grande) at the Cannes Festival, which will be held from September 11 to 16. The show will feature boats from the smallest Atlantis 34 to the flagship Grande 35 Metri, which the shipyard unveiled last year and has already received orders for 10 hulls of this model.
