Another hybrid at Admiral Group shipyards

In November the company Nakhimov in November the company signed a contract to build another hybrid motor yacht at Admiral. This 40-metre yacht in the Impero series has an all-aluminium hull and will be built in the new Hellenic shipyard in Carrara. The yacht will be equipped with a revolutionary Siemens hybrid propulsion system, enabling her to cruise at 10 knots, consuming only 60 litres of fuel per hour and having a double transatlantic range. At the same time, the yacht is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 20 knots, ideal for Mediterranean crossings.

In accordance with the owner's request "to have an effective and quiet vessel" the yacht will be equipped with state-of-the-art variable speed generators and the latest CMC Stabilis Electra electric fin stabilizers. The yacht will be painted in Awlgrip metallic colours by luxury Dutch paint company Klaver, which produces paint for Feadship, Amels, Royal Huisman, Vitters yachts.

The yacht will have five guest cabins, a large saloon with floor-to-ceiling windows and a spacious sundeck. The interiors are decorated in a modern art deco style.

The delivery is scheduled for December 2015. Nakhimov will continue to manage the construction, supervising the quality and timing of the build and will take care of the chartering of the yacht after delivery. This is the 4th contract signed by Nakhimov at Admiral in 2013. The company already manages the construction of yachts 45, 52 and 55 meters and has a full project office at the yard.
