Dutch yard Van der Valk has handed over the 26-metre yacht named Nicostasia to its owner. The vessel is the fourth in the Raised Pilothouse collection of semi-custom boats.

The external and internal design of this all-aluminium flybridge yacht was created in collaboration with Guido de Groot. «The brief was to create» a smart family boat with a cool exterior. And they succeeded.

«Nicostasia is a real family boat, and the owners love her and spend a lot of time on board»," Guido de Groot says, pleased with his work.

The main deck of the yacht has a spacious foredeck, an enclosed saloon and a dining area aft.

The flybridge has all the outdoor comforts you could wish for. There are sun beds, a wet bar with a fridge, wine cabinet and ice maker, and a spacious U-shaped dinette. Furthermore there is room to store a 4.5m tender and a jet ski, both launched by crane.

The interior spaces are generously decorated with bleached oak and light textiles to give the yacht a light airy feel.

«The interior is quite elegant and minimalistic, but clearly very functional and robust», adds the famous designer.

The main feature of the interior of the yacht is that instead of the living area there is a compact kitchen in the saloon. This change was made at the request of the owners, who like to cook and have dinner with their guests at the same time.

The lower deck features four passenger cabins, all with ensuite bathrooms, while the full-beam Master Suite (6.25m) is fitted with a dressing room. The crew quarters are equipped with all the necessities of life, including sleeping berths for three people.

Thanks to the twin MTU 10V2000 M93 engines, each providing 1502hp, she is capable of pushing the boat to a cruising speed of 18 knots and accelerating to 23 knots.
