The Primorye community is actively discussing the story of the yacht «Primorye» belonging to the regional administration. The vessel, the whereabouts of which have been unknown for a long time, was found at the Taiwanese shipyard Jade Yachts.
Employees of the shipyard are reportedly repairing the boat, the cost of which is estimated at 50 million rubles.
The press also doubts that the repair is carried out on the basis of probably a fictitious auction for «necessary hull, mechanical, design works»: two companies participating in the auction are located at the same address, and the ship itself at the time of the auction was on the way to the berth, if we believe the photos from Pusan port.
Let us explain that the yacht «Primorye» was purchased in 2011 for 100 million rubles for the APEC summit, which was held in Vladivostok in 2012. For a long time, nothing was known about the luxurious motorboat of 96-ton displacement and 30.5-metre length, but then information emerged that the boat ran aground. Where and under what circumstances this happened is not specified.
Another vessel purchased by the regional administration at the same time - the ferry «Georg Ots» - was leased, but at the moment its fate is unknown.
