At the end of 2018, Italian studio Hydro Tec showed renders of the conceptual 100-meter Crossbow. At the time, the project looked surreal, but now it is known that ISA Yachts, part of the Palumbo Group, has taken on the construction of the superyacht.

She is part of the ISA Yachts Sport Coupé range and will be the new flagship of the brand.

The largest boat from ISA Yachts to date continues to be the 66m Okto. She was delivered to the owner in 2014.

«Crossbow» - as the name of the concept translates - will be built entirely of aluminium. With an arrow-shaped, sleek and truly sporty design by Sergio Cutolo , she is designed to catch the eye. The enormous curved windscreen has a two-storey atrium and not the wheelhouse you would expect.

One of the key distinctive features of the boat is its 3.5m draught, almost a record low for a yacht of this size. This will allow «Arbalet» no fear of shallow water.

A huge beach club of 135 square meters is another important feature.» Other notable features include «infinity pool on the upper deck, Jacuzzi, private owner's deck, helipad, and a spacious garage that houses four jet skis with a pair of 9.5m tenders.

On the performance side, «Arbalet» will easily outperform other gliding yachts. Claimed top speed with twin MTU 16V 4000 M93L engines is around 25 knots. This ability to cruise so fast has informed the entire concept, including the fact that the open spaces on board are furnished with lightweight fixed furniture.
