Jeffrey Soffer's Madsummer added to the Mediterranean charter fleet

Fifty-two-year-old Florida real estate guru Jeffrey Soffer will spend his «crazy summer» aboard the 95-metre Madsummer, launched by Lurssen Shipyard in March.

The 95-foot Madsummer is not the first boat with that name in Jeffrey Soffer's life. He previously owned a 78-metre Madsummer, also from Lurssen, but in 2010 exchanged it for a much smaller Feadship due to financial constraints.

After a successful sea trials in the North Sea she is now ready for her owner in the Mediterranean. Mostly mere mortals (with enough entry fees of course) will be able to see the masterpiece designed by Harrison Eidsgaard andLaura Sessa at the Monaco Yacht Show in late September.

And not only to see, but to book for a week or two. Madsummer is chartered through Moran Yacht & Ship.

Lurssen Madsummer accommodates 20 guests in 10 cabins. She features a 12m swimming pool and an enormous spa .

Technical details are kept secret but it is known that this boat was built for round-the-world cruises.
