Polish shipyard Sunreef has received the order to build a 49m luxury catamaran, which will be the largest superyacht built in the country.

The vessel will have a gross tonnage of 1,350 register tons, that is more than 3,800 cubic meters - more than any other luxury catamaran in the world.

It is known that the boat will have three decks and plenty of open air space. Maximum width of the catamaran will be 17 m. The yacht will accommodate 10 guests and 17 crew members.

Owner and guests will be able to bring up to three tenders and an array of toys, jet skis and other water equipment on board.

Low drag and with a large fuel tank capacity of 90,000 liters, the catamaran will be capable of sailing up to 5,000 miles without refueling.

The heart of the vessel will be a twin 3400 HP MTU engine.

The customer of broker Imperial Yachts will be the owner of this record-breaking vessel. The giant will be built at Sunreef's Gdansk plant. The boat is expected to be handed over to the owner in the second half of 2021.
