Fastest sale at the Monaco Yacht Show: 73 meters in 3 days

At the Monacosuperyacht show the 72.54m Coral Ocean by Lürssenwas taken over by a new owner. Ian Malouf, founder of the Ahoy Club charter company. The sale was completed in just over three days. It was one of the fastest and largest transactions at the Monaco Yacht Show.

Coral Ocean, built in 1994, was formerly known as Coral Island. She was refitted between 2015 and 2016. The interior and exterior design was handled by Bannenberg & Rowell Design. There is a sofa area in the main saloon and the interior is rustic in style. There is a gymnasium, spa and wellness area on board. The upper deck houses a barbecue area, bar and guest area.

The yacht can accommodate 12 guests in comfort in six cabins. On board there is a spacious master suite, four guest cabins and a VIP suite. The crew size is 22. The yacht reaches the speed of 17.4 knots with twin Caterpillar 3516 DITA engines. Cruising speed is 16 knots.

Coral Ocean went on sale in January 2018. The price quoted by Moran Yacht & Ship was €31,950,000.
