The second round of the season in RC44 class started yesterday in Cascais, Portugal. On the first day of competition the participants raced in match-race format.
Russian sailing team «Synergy» did not suffer a single defeat. The sailors won six races out of six and took the lead in the competition.
At the moment, the top places in the overall standings, in addition to Synergy leading all «» , are taken by crews Aleph (France), Team Aqua (UK), Katusha (Russia) and Peninsula Petroleum (UK).
The other Russian teams are also good, Team Nika is 5th, Gazprom Youth Sailing Challenge - 6th, Bronenosec - 7th, Katusha - 8th.
