Turkish shipyard Licia Yachts has unveiled a concept of a 24-metre motor catamaran designed for long expeditions.

The 9.85m wide Licia C24 Explorer catamaran will be built in epoxy composite. Notilus Design was the naval architect for the project and Darnet Design was the interior designer.

The catamaran boasts, first and foremost, the volume of interior spaces and outdoor seating areas. 175 square metres of living space are complemented by 190 square metres of deck space.

The bright interiors of the catamaran are designed in a modern style with «unobtrusive luxury features» thanks to the use of «precious finishing materials».

A layout option with four or five cabins is available. The crew quarters can accommodate up to four guests. The master suite is located on the main deck. The wide panoramic windows afford a 180-degree view of the ocean. There is access to the foredeck.

A pair of Cummins QSM11 engines guarantees a maximum speed of 20 knots and a 3,200 mile cruising range at 10.5 knots.
