Riva reveals yacht design «with convertible hardtop»

Italian shipyard Riva has unveiled its forthcoming 88-footer Miami.

Riva architects have equipped the vessel with «convertible hardtop», designed with a system that the yard claims will be used for the first time.

The patented Convertible Top system will allow «Miami» to become a truly versatile open or closed model, with the ability to quickly switch between the two.

You can see how the Convertible Top system works in this video:

The yacht is expected to be completed towards the end of the year, at which time the novelty will be launched. The premiere of the boat is planned for the beginning of 2015.
