The opening of the sailing season 2014 will take place next weekend, May 24-25, at the Yacht Club «Gals» and the Central Shipbuilding Center «Khlebnikovo». A cultural program and several competitions are prepared for yachting lovers.
Mass sailing races will take place in the water area of the Klyazma reservoir. The competition will involve 200 yachts which will be managed not only by amateurs but by professionals as well.
Participants of the two-day regatta will drive boats of classes: «Laser», «Finn», «470», «RS:X-8.5», «Dragon» and others.
There will also be a concert program for all sailing enthusiasts at the yacht club «Gals», located in the village of Boltino. Headliners include Alexander F. Sklyar and the band «Va-Bank». The concert will take place on Saturday at 17.00, admission is free.
