This week the teams that have announced their participation in the 35th America's Cup «» will discuss the upcoming event with Oracle Team USA, the current «holder of the» trophy and race organizer. As it turns out, Team New Zealand representatives are not on the guest list for the event.

Russell Coutts, head of the event's organizing committee, said he denied «kiwi» admission. According to Coutts, it was brought to his attention that the New Zealanders were unhappy with the published protocol and therefore not ready for a constructive conversation.

«I called and told them it was better not to come»," explains a representative of the host party.

The TNZ headquarters confirms this information.

Despite the situation, however, the crew will continue to prepare for the race and will have time to pay the entry fee till 8th August. So far there's no question of refusing a fight.

We shall remind you that Team Australia announced last week that they would not take part in the Cup. The reason for the refusal - high cost of the competition.

«Currently Luna Rossa, Artemis, Ben Ainslie Racing and Team France are among the» Challengers. Representatives of these crews will meet on Tuesday in London. The agenda of the meeting has not yet been announced, but it is obvious that among the issues raised will be the protocol of the races and their venue.
