In the Swedish city of Marstrand the World Championship in RC44 class will start. The first races have already started. You can follow the course of events on the regatta website.
The competition will last until August 17, and several Russian teams will take part in it: «Synergy», Bronenosec, Team Nika, Gazprom Youth Sailing Challenge, Katusha.
Synergy Russian Sailing Team is in third place in the overall standings, followed by Bronenosec on fourth place. The Peninsula Petroleum Sailing Team and Team Aqua from Great Britain are the current leaders of the sailing competition (they are first and second respectively).
In match race the best of Russians are also the athletes of «Synergy» - they have the second position. In fourth place is Team Nika, Aleph Racing is in third place, and Team Aqua is in first place.
