In the French city of Douarnenez ended the World Championship in classes «Laser» and «Laser Radial». Boys and girls up to 21 years old took part in the competition.
The best of Russians was Maxim Nikolaev (Moscow). He became the bronze medalist in the U19 division and placed 9th in the overall standings.
Unfortunately, the girls could not perform as well: three false starts prevented a talented athlete Ekaterina Morgun from achieving the 24th position.
International championship was held from August 16 to 23. It was attended by 106 boys and 58 girls.
