The team, the latest to announce its participation in the Volvo Ocean Race, has announced the crew line-up. Team Vestas Wind's skipper, Chris Nicholson, has been joined by Danes Nikolaj Sehested, Peter Vibroje, as well as Tony Ray, Rob Solthaus(New Zealand), Tom Johnson (Australia), Wouter Verbraak (Holland) and Maciel Cichetti (Argentina).
Team Vestas Wind is the first team from Denmark that has decided to compete for the Volvo Ocean Race prizes. The crew's decision became known at the beginning of August.
In the course of the round-the-world race, the Danish flag athletes will compete against Team SCA, Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing, Dongfeng Race Team, Team Brunel, Team Alvimedica and the Spanish team, whose title sponsor has not yet been announced.
