The Russian Championship in Olympic yachting classes ended in Sochi. The competition was held from 29 September to 5 October 2014. More than 200 athletes from 22 regions took part in the race. They raced in boats of 8 classes: «Laser», «Laser-Radial», «Finn», 49erFX, «Nakra 17», 470 (men) and 470 (women).
The winners of the Championship were Sergey Komissarov («Laser»), Elena Vorobieva («Laser-Radial»), Egor Terpigoriev («Finn»), Artem Basalkin/Nikolai Chernikov (49), Anastasia Omelchenko/Kristina Sulima (49erFX), Maxim Semenov/Alina Shchetinkina («Nakra 17»), Pavel Sozykin/Denis Gribanov (470), Natalia Ivanova/Nadezhda Gerasimova (470).
Also on the same days not far from Sochi, Anapa, there was held Russian windsurfing championship. During it Dmitry Polishchuk and Olga Maslivetsbecame the champions of Russia.
