Description

The new 2019 expedition yacht is a seaworthy single-masted sailing yacht.

The yacht was built for sailing around the world, so it was designed with a virtually unsinkable, durable hull and with the most comfortable accommodations for long-term living. You only need to choose the number of cabins depending on the purpose of using the yacht: to travel by yourself or to charter.
Interior finishing and layout according to the wish of the new owner there are 4 options to choose from. The total living area is almost 100 m2. European standard layout provides:
In the guest area - three double "Lux" class cabins, with the possibility of comfortable accommodation for children

Two forward cabins with 4 berths and a galley in the bow area. All cabins will be equipped with lavatories and showers. Bar, salon and wheelhouse in the center of the yacht.

NOTE. This is a sea-going A1 class vessel sailing unrestricted. A yacht with a very strong and reliable hull.

The hull is made of low-alloy shipbuilding steel 09G2S, sandblasted, primed and painted according to «Hempel» with a 10-year warranty. It is coated with antifoulings. Thickness of planking - 6mm, bottom - 8mm, deck - 5mm, keel - 10mm.
Height of ceilings in company cabins and staterooms not less than 2.2m, in engine compartment - 1.5m.

Three water tanks of 1800 liters are planned according to the project.

In the engine room there are two engines «Perkins» after overhaul with 135 kW each. Engine room is spacious, the access to the engines is convenient. It is possible to install additional equipment. Diesel generator «Perkins» with capacity of 50kW is also installed (all engines are like new).

Three tanks for diesel fuel capacity of 3500 liters for engines and generator.

Power supply autonomous 220/380 V, as well as power from the shore of 16 amps. By design it is possible to install 4 solar panels (335W each) 1340W on the roof of the superstructure and wind generator 1500W.

The yacht passed the mooring tests (see video). Everything is checked and corresponds to the design data. The fin keel is part of the hull and provides additional strength and high stability. The keel accommodates a 15t cast-iron ballast and fuel and water tanks.

An echo sounder sensor 520-5PSD «FURUNO» is installed in the yacht hull.

On yacht boards the portholes from the armored glass triplex 16 mm thick are established, the glazing from the similar glass is executed from a deckhouse.

The electrohydraulic steering with the electromotor on permanent magnets with voltage of 24 V is completely installed. Steering can be done from the two aft posts, either with stainless steel handwheels or joysticks, as well as from the central control post.

The yacht is new, built in 2019. On the move. Requires sailing equipment and interior trim. Approximate cost of completion (minimum): 100 thousand USD for sailing equipment and the same amount for the interior. You can let your imagination run wild to customize your yacht.

The motor-sailer is currently in the marina at the Safaga Shipyard in Egypt. The shipyard has everything you need. There is a good wood shop, always good weather and a friendly attitude to Russian citizens.

The boat was registered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, currently deregistered for sale.
The yacht has a local agent who will deal with all issues related to the boat: from registration to any legal issues, organizes assistance in registration of imported equipment and materials (foreigners are not charged customs fees for this). This will allow you to avoid red tape during completion and registration of the yacht.

Reason for the sale: we built the yacht for ourselves, for the purpose of family round-the-world sailing, but the circumstances were such that we are forced to sell it. The best materials were used for the construction, professional builders were involved, the designer personally supervised. If desired, I can help with the completion.
