For the first time in history, national Synergy was on the podium of the European Championship in the Melges 32 class. At the competition in Italy, the guys took bronze, just short of the championship title! At the end of 9 races the crew had 22 points, the same amount as the Swedish Inga, but the Swedes had three wins against one Russian. Robertissimo of Switzerland was five points behind the leader. They could have got them in the final race, but because of rainy weather and changeable south wind called "Ora" it was cancelled.
