Today inMoscow and Palma de Mallorca, Spain, we bid farewell to Valentin Danilov, Russia's oldest Finn sailor . He became helmsman of Finn class in 1956 and since then during 58 years, until the last days of his life, has been competing in this most physically demanding class. On October 17, after a short-term illness Valentin Danilov passed away. He was 79 years old.
